We all tend to have our phones by our sides, most of the day.  Use that phone for good!  Below is a list of my personal favorite apps.  I use most of them on a daily basis.  All of them within a week.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

Nature Sounds

As I work on the computer, I create a wonderful work environment.  I usually have oils diffusing and nature sounds running in the background.  It’s soothing and this video is over eight hours.  It’s especially nice in winter.  Search for others as well.

    The Happiness Advantage

    Great compilation of positive psychology findings.  Harvard trained Shawn Achor is world renown and has one of the top 25 TED talks. This is well written and entertaining.  He is one of the world’s leading experts on happiness, success, and potential.

    Pulsed Electromagnetic Healing Device

    As a kid I’d watch Star Trek after school. We’ve all watched as science fiction has become 21st century reality.  Remember the “communicators”?  Now we have cell phones that do almost the same thing.  

    Think about sickbay – Dr. McCoy’s domaine.  Patients would lay on beds and heal after the diagnosis was made.  (Yes, I am a closet Trekkie ).   While we haven’t gotten there quite yet, we do have access to a foundational wellness device.  It uses PEMF – or Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Frequency.

    Energy Medicine

    WHAT IS PEMF?

    We can think of PEMF as a battery charger for our cells.  Our cell batteries get depleted by free radicals caused by pollution, harmful EMF emitted by 5G, and being inside not connected to the beneficially charged earth. 

    The voltage of a healthy cell is about -20 to -25 millivolts. We start to get sick when that voltage drops below -15 millivolts or less. Once our cells’ voltage drops below that level, they are unable to heal and become dysfunctional. 

    By applying a pulsating electromagnetic field that matches the Earth’s magnetic field to damaged cells, PEMF therapy slows or stops the release of pain and inflammatory mediators, increases blood flow of the cells, and re-establishes normal cell interaction. 

    With reduced inflammation, pain decreases, energy increases, and faster tissue healing occurs. PEMF does not treat a specific condition, PEMF optimizes the body’s self-healing and self regulating functions. 

    How Does It Work?

    PEMF is applied by laying (or reclining) on a mat that is the size of a yoga mat.  This mat provides pulsating electromagnetic fields, using 3 pairs of solid and non-insulated copper coils divided in the head/neck, torso/hips and legs/feet regions. 

    PEMF technology is simple and effective.  It allows every cell of your body to receive the microcirculation and oxygenation it needs to thrive.  In today’s world, we are exposed to free radicals 5G, and harmful EMF’s from cell phones and other electronic devices.  These forces deplete the negative charge on our cells. 

     

    Not all PEMF Devices Are The Same

    I’ve been researching PEMF devices for a while and decided upon SwissBionics which has Swiss Engineering and German Technology combined!  Their mat emits a very sophisticated physical impulse composition called, “Triple Saw Tooth” waveform. This can not be “felt” in the form of vibration, however individuals have reported feelings of relaxation and/or tingling. Sessions last between 8 – 24 minutes and can be done while fully clothed. 

    The emitted PEMF pulses, even at the highest intensity setting, are no greater than the average flux density of the earth’s magnetic field and reinforces the body’s own energy.  

    Why Did I Want PEMF and What Are My Results?

     I decided to purchase the Swiss Bionics mat for several health reasons.  I didn’t really expect to “feel” much with daily treatments with the mat.  But I know that the PEMF triple saw tooth waves that Swiss Bionics delivers is proven to work on so many levels of health.

    1) I’m a heart attack survivor and the ideas of increased oxygenation and microcirculation especially in the heart was very compelling.
    2) Osteoporosis runs in my family and in fact I have osteopenia.  Knowing that PEMF is a proven way (per PubMed.gov) to improve bone mass, this was another bonus.
    3) High blood pressure – PEMF helps to reduce high blood pressure
    4) Lymphatic drainage – I discovered I had high levels heavy metals and since I detox periodically, I wanted an efficient way to move the toxins out of my system.
    5). CoVid preparedness – since PEMF helps with microcirculation  and oxygenation, having a mat is a wonderful technology to help support you during recovery. I haven’t had CoVid, but it’s nice to know my mat is available.

    But the nicest surprise happened with several Acute Pain incidences.  I applied the pad to my shoulders after an intense chiropractic adjustment and got pain relief within the hour.  I applied the pad to my abdomen when I’ve had food poisoning.  After a couple of treatments, the  “rumbling” stopped.  And most recently I suffered from sciatica.  I applied the pad several times on my lower back for several days and the pain went away!  I saw the same thing happen with my mother and brother – and they were non-believers!
